Amy Slaubaugh is the friendly face you see when you first come into our office. Amy is licensed in property and casualty insurance and has been working in the industry for over 20 years. She and her husband live in Dayton and have a son currently attending Virginia Tech. She has a great sense of design and home decor and is a self-described Francophile.

Jim Harris is the newest face in the office. Jim graduated from Virginia Tech and obtained his insurance license in 2016. Jim is looking forward to continuing his father’s legacy of providing personalized insurance service. Jim is married and likes to spend his time being with friends, playing board games, and trying his best to be a green thumb.

The unofficial office greeter is a furry feline by the name of Bast. If you have been in the office, you may remember being immediately greeted by Bast. Bast enjoys head scratches, napping on Amy’s desk, and bird watching from his sun porch besides meeting new people.
OFFICEFloki, Bast’s older brother, has a more sensitive, reserved personality, so Floki is well suited to a supervisory role. From his perch on top of the filing cabinets, Floki makes sure things are running smoothly, and if not, he runs and hides somewhere. Floki also enjoys naps on Amy’s desk when Bast is not hogging it. Floki has been in a long-term committed relationship with a stuffed monkey named Bongo and hangs out with Bongo when not working.
